Does staging a home help sell it? Is staging necessary to sell a house?
Staging is the act of preparing a property or houses for sale by re-arranging or most commonly, replacing furniture, decor, and other items to make it more attractive to potential buyers. Staged properties also tend to spend less time on the market than non-staged properties, which can help reduce costs and lost opportunity for sellers.
We know that your home right now is set up for you to live in, and it’s probably perfect for that. However, our job is to set it up to sell it, and the best way to do that is to stage it. You might love your couch, and it probably looks great, but everything in a staged property is designed to make the home look BIGGER, BRIGHTER, and more APPEALING.
Statistics show that staged properties sell faster and for a higher price than non-staged properties.
In other words, staging makes your property more attractive and therefore easier to sell!

To Stage or Not to Stage? Is Property Staging Worth It?
Buyers Need to imagine themselves in the property. Therefore, staging a property should be a top priority for a seller. We need to show off the best attributes of the home. It is important because our job is to make the buyers say, WOW, as soon as they walk in and feel like they’re at home.

There are two things that round out this argument in our experience.
The first is that every homeowner who’s ever had a property styled with us, has walked in, and said WOW, to their own home! The second is that it will mostly cost well under $10,000 to stage a home, and it should return 10x that in a final sale price.
For us, it’s a no-brainer, it’s something we always strongly recommend. Reach out to us and we can show you the difference between a styled and non-styled home.
